Set in the year 1939, the game follows the rogue archaeologist on an all-new globe-trotting quest. To get guests in the mood, everyone was given their very own Indiana Jones hat and a whip that makes whip-like noises and plays the Indiana Jones theme song.
I restrained my urges to whip my friends and instead tried my hand at the game at one of the many Wii stations set up around the store. Luckily some helpful Lucas Arts staff were on hand to teach me how to use the Wii remote to beat up my enemies, fly a plane through a canyon, and swing across an abyss. Fun!
Having just watched the Tony's the night before, I was delighted to spot all three of the adorable Billy Elliots at one of the Wii stations! I couldn't resist going up to David Alvarez and telling him how awesome he was.
Many celebs came out with their families including Beastie Boy's Adam Yauch and daughter Tenzin, Debra Winger, the three Billy Elliots (David Alvarez, Kiril Kulish, Trent Kowalik), Alexis Glick and her family, Irina Pantaeva, Elizabeth Vargas, E.J. Bonilla, Jami Floyd, Michael Gelman, Pat Kiernan, Bill McCuddy, Tim Minton, Norman Reedus, John Sykes, and James Toback.
All the guests received a copy of the game on their way out.
Visit the Nintendo store at Rockefeller Center to pick up your own copy of the game today!
