Sylvana Ward Durrett

During her time as director of special projects for Vogue, Sylvana Ward Durrett was the most powerful gatekeeper in town: she literally produced the Met Gala. But after years of running around with the crème de la crème of the fashion world, she decided to join their ranks - on a slightly more miniature scale. In 2017 she partnered with another former Vogue staffer, Luisana Mendoza Roccia, to launch Maisonette, a luxury shopping destination for cool moms (like herself) to dress their cool kids. Now she's the CEO of what's essentially the Net-a-Porter for children (and doesn't have to lose her mind every first Monday in May).
