Although George maintains that the allegations are "absurd and false," one source says that he has given money back to a number of women to whom he sold bags, refunding them for purchases totaling upwards of $20,000.
That's certainly a start, but seeing as former bestie Gillian Hearst now has him blocked on Instagram, we imagine George's standing invite into the world of the New York upper crust has been permanently revoked.
His victims won't be pressing charges according to Page Six (it would be way too embarrassing to admit that they got duped), but at least George came away from the ordeal learning an important lesson: Mess with socialites' wardrobes and you'll end up going from the guest list to the blacklist.
