Watch out Upper East Side, the Mortimer legacy is alive and well. Born yesterday, January 29th at 12:51PM, 8lb 4oz - Violet Elizabeth Mortimer is sure to be a society favorite.
Her mother's a brilliant, beloved shoe designer, and her father works in finance, and counts John Jay and the President of Standard Oil as his grandfathers (he was also previously married to Tinsley Mortimer, if you've been living under a rock for the past twelve years!!!!). So yeah, we think this Gossip Girl's gonna have it pretty good. Definitely in the running as best friend potential for Nicky Hilton's new daughter, Teddy Marilyn Rothschild.
