While the same attributes could be applied to the iconic Hotel Chelsea, we are, in fact, describing the spot's beyond-fabulous maître d', Taylor Jane.

Draped in shimmering frocks, adorned with jewels, perhaps donning opera gloves or fixing her lipstick, Taylor can be found holding court at the Chelsea's Lobby Bar, where she appears as perfectly suited to the surroundings as the generations of artists and muses that came before her. 

Seriously, just scroll through her Instagram feed and you'll find photos of the Chelsea's past interspersed with Taylor's present - you'll have to do a double take to figure out which photo is from the '60s and which is a snap of her last night.

As warm as she is effortlessly cool, Taylor welcomes and curates the bar's buzzing crowd on any given night, filtering in starlets, socialites, and staples of the hotel's scene with a delicate whoosh of the wrist. It's safe to say she's the person to know if you're hoping for a prime seat to sip your martini.
