Joining the ranks of Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg, McFarland dropped out of Bucknell University during his freshman year. But it wasn't all fun(employment) and games. In 2011 he launched a content-sharing site called Spling, earning $475K from investors by the end of the year, according to Crunchbase. As of 2015, he still appeared to be the CEO. As of right now, however, the website is suspended.
