The date was February 22nd, 2014. Some normal, honest young girl by the name Divanopka (feel free to give yourself a proper moment to repeat that five times in your head trying to pronounce it) took to Twitter to lay her heart bare, writing:
"I want to have @TheLSD’s color hair when I grow up/rn…it is perfect"
Not too long after so vulnerably putting herself out there, speaking a truth we all doubtlessly feel deep down inside, she received a reply from the blonde society queen herself.
"It's good to have goals in life."
I think about this exchange at least once a week. Much like Lauren Santo Domingo's hair, it's probably one of the most perfect things I've ever seen. It's exactly what I would have dreamed her to say. It's not a 'thank you,' or a 'that's so sweet.' It's the most brilliant, blunt, totally accurate response that girl didn't know she needed to hear.
