She Launched A Hippie-Dippie Private School
For a time, the WeWork extended universe also included WeGrow, the Montessori-style private school Rebekah dreamed up based on the idea that kindergarteners should be learning about entrepreneurship. The swanky school, which opened in a Bjarke Ingels-designed space within WeWork's Chelsea headquarters, taught a curriculum based on Rebekah's "six pillars of growth," naturally involving mindfulness and yoga. Tuition ranged from $26,000 to $48,000 a year before the school announced its closing during the 2019-2020 semester amid the chaos at its parent company.
