John Augustine "Austin" Hearst & Gabriela Hearst
John Augustine Hearst (who goes by Austin), the son of William Randolph Hearst Jr., is a film producer and high-powered executive of the family's media corporation, but fashionistas may be more familiar with his wife, Gabriela Hearst.
The Uruguayan fashion designer launched her first clothing brand in Brooklyn in 2004. She and Austin tied the knot in 2013, and after officially becoming a Hearst, she launched her eponymous label, Gabriela Hearst, in 2015. It quickly became a luxe, sustainable favorite of the style set. She's won a CFDA Award, dressed First Lady Jill Biden at the presidential inauguration, and, as you may have heard, was named the new creative director of Chloé in 2020.
