Don't worry guys, the Times is on it. The New York Times sometimes points out the painfully obvious. Now, we have someone to publicly make fun of them for doing so. The Times Is On It showcases the most transparent and unnecessary stories of our favorite periodical. Each tweet begins with a capitalized "GUYS", as if the account is about to break exciting news. Then, it continues to highlight a brutally obvious NY Times article informing us on far from hard-hitting news information, such as that wearing sunscreen is good, elderly people don't use the internet, or that blackberries aren't that cool anymore.
Each tweet reads "Thank you for that incredibly shocking news, New York Times" in the best way possible. The account was so popular it was
briefly suspended by Twitter in November 2012 because the newspaper complained. Come on now, New York Times, can't you take a joke?
