The Internet Is Dragging This TikTok Star Who Pays $2000 For Fancy Water

Much has been said, written, and criticized about the crop of young, wealthy social media stars who come across as hopelessly out of touch when it comes to sharing looks into their daily lives. But, alas, that has hardly stopped them from doing it, even if it means getting dragged on the internet.

The latest TikToker to go viral for all the wrong reasons is one Ryan Dubs, a self-proclaimed "brand king and creative director to the stars." The entrepreneur, who also founded a skincare company that claims to have been "blessed by a Buddhist monk" (???), posted a video this week divulging his expensive addiction to fancy water.

"I spend over $2000 a month on high-end water bottles delivered directly to my house and, as a water snob, it is such a luxury," Dubs starts off the video, standing in front of boxes upon boxes of Voss water imported from Norway.

"I know what you're thinking: Where do I keep it all?" he continues, before reassuring us that, don't worry, he has four refrigerators in his kitchen. Seeing as he filmed himself loading one up entirely with Voss bottles, it appears he does indeed have a dedicated fridge just for his H20.

And, despite the disclaimer that the glass bottles are carbon neutral and thus, a more responsible option than the plastic Fiji bottles he used to hoard, the responses to his TikTok have, unsurprisingly, been... not great.

The video has also been making the rounds on Twitter, where users have of course been even less forgiving.

As for the explanation behind the extravagance? Well, he says he hates and just cannot stomach tap water. Which, fair, but has this guy not heard of a Brita filter?!
