On June 6th, 1998, the world of women was changed forever as Sex and the City aired for the very first time on HBO. In the 19 years since that fateful premiere (seriously, 19 years), the show and its four protagonists have become ubiquitous, especially in NYC. Nary a friend group is without the self-labeling Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha, however it is the latter we must all pay tribute to. Samantha Jones, boss bitch, taught us how to love ourselves and our sexuality. Not only that, she was always the only one ballsy enough to say what we all were thinking.
