The prestigious, $50,000-a-year Reardon School may technically be fictional (but trust, there are plenty of real-life Manhattan institutions that certainly fit the bill) but the location is a real place on the Upper East Side - and it probably looks pretty familiar.
Nope, you weren't imagining it, that is indeed the same spot they used for Gossip Girl's infamous Constance Billard School for Girls/St. Jude’s School for Boys courtyard. When it's not being used as a TV backdrop, it's actually a part of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church. Want to catch a glimpse of the now-iconic setting?
