Ali Wong: Hard Knock Wife
Somehow I totally missed the boat on Ali Wong. But, after listening to a Conan O'Brien podcast where she was a guest, I decided to get in there and give it a try. And I was mighty pleased.
While I understand Ali's stage voice, it's not my favorite thing to listen to. Which makes it all the more telling that I was able to see past that. [For reference, the last Aziz Ansari special, where he basically whispered bizarrely at the audience about his sexual abuse claims, I was out after ten minutes].
