As a young, childless, socially uninterested woman in New York, I've all the free time in the world - and thanks to my husband and cousin, all the entertainment subscriptions one could need to fill it. Spectrum cable, Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBO, Showtime. Only thing I don't have is Hulu - so if I know you and you've got an account, hook a girl up with a username and password ;)
And so when I can't even bear to make it to Episode 2 of a series, it's a true insult. After all, what else do I have to do but mindlessly watch TV? As a gesture of kindness, I shall selflessly share the top 4 shows that impressively deserved no second chance in my book.
Am I a huge consumer of content? Yes. Do I admit I'm not always the best at reading the entertainment zeitgeist? Well, I am a person who upon seeing the first trailer for Avatar turned to my cousin and said "Isn't it so sad when you see a movie people worked so hard on and spent so much money on but that is just so bad you know no one's going to see it?"
Take it for what you will, but I sure as hell wouldn't recommend these shows.
