Sintra, Portugal
Sintra is a resort town located about an hour outside of the capital, Lisbon. Known as a royal sanctuary, colorful homes and plenty of greenery line the steep roads. One of the main tourist attractions is Pena Palace, a 19th century castle located on the top of a mountain. The yellow and purple castle overlooks the Portuguese forest and the views are unbelievable. Also, Madonna has a house there and lives there part time, so you know it's cool.
