2. Meyers is a pro at dealing with wacky guests on SNL (who else could handle Stefon or Garth and Kat with such patience and charm?) We would love to see him handle real-life wackadoos, making subtly snarky comments and politically prudent remarks. Plus, we’re reading that, if selected as co-host, he’ll still anchor “Weekend Update”, which means he’ll still be involved in SNL, if not as head writer. (That being said, the
SNL departures heading into the next season are a bit too much for us to handle...)
