The Oakland-born California native got her undergraduate degree from Stanford, then went on to graduate from Harvard Law School. She worked for international law firm Covington & Burling, and held positions at various tech companies, including Facebook, Slack, and Uber, where she served as Head of Strategy & Leadership.
