Nourishment

Nourishment is about how we fill ourselves up, literally and figuratively. How we feed our bodies with food and how we fill our minds and our hearts with things like art, music and friendship. Food, is the foundation of health and wellness, and plays a critical role in our energy level, mood, hormones, the condition of our hair and skin, immune system, sleep quality, inflammation levels and more. That said, nutrition is not one size fits all. Focus on adding in healthy foods is much more appealing than focusing on what NOT to eat. For example, setting the intention to eat 2 servings of green veggies a day can make a large impact, but isn’t as overwhelming as saying “I’ll never eat sugar again.” Focusing on all the foods we “shouldn’t” eat can leave us hungry on many levels.
