GoldBar was a pioneer in the Little Italy location, how has the neighborhood changed?

Shaun Rose: GoldBar sits at a meeting point of several great neighborhoods. That has allowed for a truly diverse group to become part of the fabric of the place. It's a true New York crowd.

Jonny Lennon: GoldBar had a lot to do with an overall interest in the neighborhood because of our success; it directly increased our value. When I started at Goldbar 9 1/2 years ago, the neighborhood was a ghosttown.

Steve Kasuba (Publicist since 2006): There was actually a funny story in New York magazine titled “GoldBar Causes Citywide Escalade Shortage” because everyone had their cars idling at the curb.

Jonny Lennon: We were a destination. Now bars and businesses have been popping up all over Little Italy, The Bowery, Chinatown, and Nolita. I know GoldBar was instrumental in that evolution.
