Facebook Adds "Listen" Button To Music Pages

Just because we're still trying to figure out what Facebook's acquisition of Instagram means for the future of our favorite app doesn't mean that Mark Zuckerberg decided to give us, his Facebook users, a minute to get used to any of the new changes (we're still trying to figure out timeline!). In Facebook's newest ploy to have us on the site every second of every day, they've added a "Listen" button to band and artist timeline pages.

The button, which goes live today, will allow users to listen to their favorite music through Spotify, MOG, and other services without ever navigating away from their Facebook page.

When you click the "Listen" button, the music service that you most frequently use will start playing the most popular song from that particular artist or band.

This new feature definitely makes listening to music easier than ever, but it also means that we're going to have to stop listening to some of our favorite guilty pleasure songs...all listening activity gets posted to your timeline!
